About

I design playful interventions that help people and communities make better choices for a healthier planet.
Through game principles and behavioral design, I make complex sustainability challenges understandable, tangible, and engaging.

What I do

Depending on the challenge, I:

  • Develop playful concepts that address behavioral questions and spark motivation.

  • Lead projects and guide teams through the creative and development process.

  • Build interactive interventions myself, from prototype to functional experience.

I collaborate with a network of specialists when projects benefit from additional expertise.

Why I founded zerow

I founded Zerow because I believe play is one of the most powerful drivers of change.

As children, we learn through play. But even as adults, playful experiences help us grow — often without us noticing.
Traditionally, play has been treated as something “just for fun”. Yet today we see it being applied successfully in far more serious contexts: public health, education, crisis training, civic engagement.

Across the world, organizations use playful methods — mobile games, gamified tools, interactive experiences — to help people think and act differently. My former partner, Games for Health, implemented more than 800 games and applications that improved public health and well-being.

But in sustainability and climate action, I saw a gap.
We still rely heavily on information, models, and campaigns, even though behavior is one of the biggest obstacles to real change.

With Zerow, I want to close that gap.
I make complex systems understandable through play, and create experiences that inspire individual and collective action — for a more resilient and healthier planet.

A little more about me

I started my career composing music for video games, and spent 15 years developing marketing concepts, campaigns, events, and business models for technology companies.
Across all those roles, one element stayed constant: understanding human behavior and turning it into meaningful, engaging experiences.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me at the piano, producing music, or spending time outdoors with my family — recharging creativity that always finds its way back into my projects.
